Sonesta Gwinnett Place Atlanta ES is the perfect hotel when you want to get away, but you still want to feel right at home.
During the Memorial Day weekend, I had the pleasure of staying at this great Sonesta property while visiting Atlanta for a little bit of business and fun, a perfect property for both!
When I first walked in, I was greeted by a friendly front desk staff that did not take too much time getting me checked in and they just really exuded excellent customer service. They handed me my keys and gave me a quick break down about the hotel and where everything was located, but before I headed to my room, I could not help noticing the sign behind them: Sonesta Hotels and Resorts & Sonesta ES Suites.
Both the hotel side and the extended stay side are located in the same building, the best of both worlds under one roof. My suite was located on the ES side, but I did get a chance to tour the hotel side with management, and it was just as fabulous with fantastic views.
I had the pleasure of staying on the 8th floor in a very spacious suite with a private bedroom featuring a very comfy king size bed. This charming suite had all the perks of a lovely small apartment. It had a home away from home feel with a refrigerator, a stovetop, pots and pans, and dishware. You could go grocery shopping and cook your meals, or you can enjoy all of the in-house culinary experiences:

Available Monday-Sunday from 6 a.m. to midnight. Great options that looked and tasted terrific when ordered early in the morning or late at night right before the cut off time. Kudos to the kitchen team, my favorite dish was the Wild Mushroom Flatbread.
The Grapevine
A perfect place to start the day with a complimentary breakfast or enjoy their delicious lunch menu. I went down for breakfast every morning, and the breakfast spread was amazing. On Sunday, I even brought food back to my suite and had a fun Sunday brunch.

Art Bar
A contemporary Southern restaurant with a full bar that provides guests and locals with the hotel’s signature dishes and cocktails with installations by local artists. I got the opportunity to sit down with Chef Rocco, the ArtBars genius executive chef for a private tasting of his new summer menu. Everything was superb, infused with his signature flare.
